Today (17th September 2019)’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins as we see Kartik and Niara chatting with each and discussing Liza-Akhilesh’s matter. While Vedika learns that Kartik is texting Naira and she took their chatting in the wring sense. Vansh and Kairav argue on who will become Ganpati. Naira goes and tells them that no one will become Ganpati as Ganpati idol will be brought by they both have an opportunity to become Ganpati’s favourite. But., the children deny this so Niara convinces them on becoming Mushak. She gets both of them ready in the mouse costume, Kartik and Vedika bring the idol while Kairav and Vansh shake their legs in their costumes to welcome Ganpati Bappa.
Everyone including the Pandit is all praise of the kinds and their mushak idea. Later, we see Kairav asks Vedika why she bought the idol from the shop and why didn’t Naira make like previous years. Somehow, Naira makes a small Ganpati ido and places it near the previous idol as asked by the pandit. Kartik and the kids start performing Aarti. Later, everyone else follows the same. Kairav sees Liza’s massage and Vansh reads it. Akhilesh worries and goes. Kairav goes and drags Liza to see Ganpati and she had texted of being outside the house. Liza starts crying on which Dadi asks her the reason behind her crying.
Everyone including Surekha asks Liza the reason for crying. Later, Liza hugs Surekha and start crying loudly. Akhilesh thinks that Liza must have told everything to Surekha so he comes down and defends himself telling that Liza is a liar and he didn’t have any kind of affair with her.
Everyone surprised to hear and Manish tells Akhilesh that Liza hadn’t told anything about his affair. Akhilesh himself had revealed the truth to everyone. Akhilesh tries to say something but Manish slaps him. Surekha starts crying while Dadi continuously slaps Akhilesh and scolds him for proving her teaching s wrong.
