As portrayed on screen, a seemingly perfect life may not really be perfect for celebrities. As such, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s success as an actor could not conceal his life full of solitude or a melancholic side of himself.

He was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra on Sunday. No suicide note was recovered by the police at his residence. Sushant’s postmortem was done at Cooper Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai late on Sunday. The preliminary postmortem report of Sushant Singh Rajput has now revealed that the cause of the actor’s death was hanging.

Sushant Singh Rajput was said to be undergoing depression for the last 6 months. The police had also found a few medical reports from his residence. Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput has also tested negative for COVID-19.

Some samples have also been sent to Kalina Forensic lab for further testing. The actor’s body has been kept at Cooper Hospital Mortuary. The last rites of the actor will be performed in Mumbai today.

The sudden demise of the ‘Chhichore’ actor has sent shockwaves to the Indian film industry as well as Bollywood personalities Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma and others grieving the loss of such a brilliant star at a tender age of 34.

As DNA writes,Karan Johar made some shocking revelations on the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The filmmaker took the blame on himself for not keeping in touch with Sushant despite receiving hints that Singh Rajput needed a lending ear to hear him out for once.

“I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year….. I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with…but somehow I never followed up on that feeling…will never make that mistake again…,” posted Karan about Sushant.

The filmmaker also said that Sushant’s demise is a huge wake-up call for him. He added, “We live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times …some of us succumb to these silences and go within…we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them….Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me …”

“To my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations…..I hope this resonates with all of you as well….will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug ….,” posted Karan alongside a photo of him and Sushant from an award ceremony.

Rajput, who made his transition from Patna to television and then to the glamour of the Hindi film industry, was the youngest of five siblings and is survived by his father and four sisters.

His former manager Disha Salian also reportedly committed suicide a few days back. The investigation is also on in that case.
