AASRA is a Mumbai based mental health NGO. They are working round the clock ensuring to cater to suicidal and emotionally distressed person. According to reports, members of this NGO have professionally been trained to answer the call on a dedicated 24×7 helping number. The volunteers can converse in Hindi and English language. Families undergoing trauma after suicide of a loved one can also seek their help.

Fortis Stress Helpline
Fortis Healthcare launched a Stress Helpline number mainly for students and parents who are going through stress, mental well being related to exams and academics. They have trained a bunch of volunteers who can converse in English, Hindi and multiple regional languages.

Parivarthan
Parivarthan is a Bangalore based counselling center which has dedicated a helpline number to help people experiencing mental health difficulties. It is one of a very few organisations in India that has secured an organisational membership (Membership No. 129337) with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
They have multiple trained and skilled counsellors who can converse in English, Kannada, and Tamil and other languages. Unlike the above mentioned two NGO, Parivarthan does not have dedicated 24×7 helpline number. You can call them only between 1 pm to 10 pm, Monday through Friday.

Cooj Mental Health Foundation
Cooj is Goa-based mental health organisation that has both online as well as suicide prevention helpline number. This organisation operates projects under 4 major mental health needs: Psychosocial rehabilitation, Suicide Prevention, Geriatric & Dementia Care and Community Mental health.

Sneha Foundation is an NGO based out of Chennai. It is yet another suicide prevention organisation that you can contact via emain or helpline number. It is to be noted that you can call them on all days between 10 pm to 2 pm.

iCall volunteers can be reached out to Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 10 pm.

Vandrevala Foundation
Vandrevala Foundation is an NGO established by Cyrus Vandrevala and Priya Vandrevala. In 2009, it established the “Mental Health – India” initiative to raise awareness for and provide services to mentally ill or emotionally distressed individuals. Priya Vandrevala’s father is Niranjan Hiranandani.
This foundation has a dedicated suicide prevention helpline number that can be reached out round the clock. Besides the 24×7 helpline number, one can also seek a help at [email protected].
