Phone Bhoot starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter is all set to go on floors in 2020. Producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment revealed the first look of the film on Monday. The poster of Phone Bhoot sees the trio dressed in uber-cool tuxedos looking surprised and cheeky at the same time.
Katrina Kaif took to Twitter to announce her next film. She wrote, “The one-stop-shop for all bhoot related problems, #PhoneBhoot ringing in cinemas in 2021. Phone Bhoot will mark the debut collaboration between Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Ishaan and Siddhant also shared the first look of the film on their Instagram handle.
“ Darna allowed hai, as long as you’re laughing along the way. #PhoneBhoot, ringing in cinemas near you in 2021. @gurmmeetsingh @katrinakaif @siddhantchaturvedi @ishaankhatter @ravi.shankaran @jasvinderbath @ritesh_sid @faroutakhtar,” the production house shared.

Interestingly, the film’s first look featuring Katrina, Ishaan, and Siddhant was shot before the lockdown was imposed. Phone Bhoot will be helmed by Gurmeet Singh and is written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The makers will begin shooting for the film later this year. Phone Bhoot is scheduled for a 2021 release.
Meanwhile, Katrina was last seen in Salman Khan’s Bharat in 2019. Ishaan Khatter on the other hand will star in A Suitable Boy and Khaali Peeli in his next on-screen appearance. Similarly, Siddhant Chaturvedi will also be seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2 and in Shakun Batra’s untitled film alongside Deepika Padukone next.
Phone Bhoot is Excel Entertainment’s major film announcement after Gully Boy and Farhan Akhtar starrer Toofaan.
