Neena asks in a video “why is it a taboo for women to burp or fart? If men can do it so can we,” she said. Taking a stroll in her garden in comfortable clothes, Neena asks her viewers, “Aurton ko gas nahi hoti. Unko badhazmi nahi hoti. Unko burps nahi aate, hain na? Toh aajkal lockdown hai aur isme zyaada bhi khaana khaaya jaata hai. Bachchon ke liye kuch special banaaya, woh bhi khaa liya. Aur toh kuch hai nahi karne ko hai, khaana peena. Aise mein na, you fart also. Hindi mein bolun toh sabko bura lagega. Toh, why can’t women fart? Why can’t they burp? Why can’t they sit however they want to sit?”
While urging people to not harm their system she added, “if you want to take out that gas, what is the big deal? Men do it in public. Why do women need to hold themselves and look for a private space to do so? Why? This is my question. Do it. What else will you do? Why do you want to harm your system? Am I not saying the right thing?”.
