Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu, who was last seen in Maharshi, is all geared up for his upcoming film Sarileru Neekevvary, which is said to be a romantic comedy. Mahesh Babu, who is considered to be one of the highest-paid Indian actors is reportedly going to take Rs 52 crore as his remuneration forSairleru Neekvvary. Notably, the shooting of the film is currently underway in Hyderabad.
The Telugu superstar used to get Rs 25 crores as fees for a movie but this time he has taken non theatrical rights as his remuneration for Anil Ravipudi’ film Sarileru Neekevvaru. If reports are to be believed, Mahesh Babu would be paid Rs 52 crore as a fee for his upcoming film.
In the film, Mahesh Babu is playing the role of Major Ajay Krishna and this would be for the first time Maharshi actor will be seen romancing Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna on the silver screen. Bandla Ganesh and Vijayashanti are playing a pivotal role in the film.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by AK Entertainments, GMB Entertainments and Sri Venkateswara Creations, Sarileru Neekevvaru is slated to hit the theatres on 15 January 2020 during the Makar Sankranti festival season.
The film is likely to clash with Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth starrer Darbar, which is directed by AR Murugadoss.
