The Kissing Booth is undoubtedly one of the most popular romantic comedy film written and directed by Vince Marcello. Ever since The Kissing Booth released in 2018, fans have been eagerly waiting to watch The Kissing Booth 2.

Based on the Wattpad novel of the same name, The Kissing Booth stars Joey King, Jacob Elordi, Joel Courtney and Molly Ringwald. If you have been waiting for The Kissing Booth 2, we have a piece of good news for you. Yes, the makers of the film have announced a sequel to The Kissing Booth and it will feature Jacob Elordi as our fictional boyfriend Noah Flynn.

The Kissing Booth is likely to introduce multiple new faces that could the dynamic between Elle and Noah as we know it.

Kissing Booth 2 release date: When will it out on Netflix?

According to the latest report, the shooting of The Kissing Booth has officially wrapped up and it is likely the sequel to The Kissing Booth will be out around May 2020. However, the exact release date of The Kissing Booth 2 is yet to be announced by the streaming giant.

Kissing Booth 2 cast: Is Jacob Elordi returning to this season?

The announcement video of The Kissing Booth 2 left thousands shocked as Jacob Elordi was nowhere to be seen as Noah, along with Joey King as Elle Evans. Besides Noah, is Lee Flynn,  Elle’s BFF and Noah’s brother would also be returning in the second season.

Besides these, there will be many new characters that could change the dynamics. Netflix has officially confirmed that Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Perez have joined The Kissing Booth 2 cast.

Will Elle and Noah stay together in The Kissing Booth 2?

As we have seen the prequel ended with Noah heading off to college and Elle stating that she’s not sure if they’ll stay together.

But if Joey King had her way, she knows exactly how The Kissing Booth 2 is going to unfold,  “Elle goes to visit Noah at college. Of course, there has to be some crazy things that get out of hand, but I don’t know,” she told Seventeen.

The speculation of King turned out to be true. Yes, Netflix described the plot as: “Elle Evans just had the most romantic summer of her life with her reformed bad-boy boyfriend Noah Flynn. But now Noah is off to Harvard, and Elle heads back to high school for her senior year.”

“She’ll have to juggle a long-distance relationship, getting into her dream college with her best friend Lee, and the complications brought on by a close friendship with a handsome, charismatic new classmate named Marco (Taylor Perez). When Noah grows close to a seemingly-perfect college girl (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Elle will have to decide how much she trusts him and to whom her heart truly belongs.”

What will happens in The Kissing Booth 2?

As per the reports, The Kissing Booth 2: Going The Dance, Noah and Elle’s relationship is about to get 10 times more complicated courtesy to their new long-distance status. Noah is now at Harvard and Elle is completing her senior year at high school with Lee.

If anything to go by the synopsis of the book, which reads, “Elle Evans seems to have finally tamed hotter-than-hot bad boy Noah Flynn, but now they’re facing a new challenge. Noah’s 3,000 miles away at Harvard, which means they’re officially a long-distance couple – and it’s tough. After all, there’s only so much texts and calls can satisfy – and when Elle sees a post which suggests Noah’s getting friendly with someone else, she’s devastated. On top of that, it’s hard to ignore new boy Levi. He’s gentle, sweet, cute – and definitely interested in Elle. With her heart on the line, what’s a girl to do?”

Is there a trailer for The Kissing Booth 2?

Unfortunately, the makers of the film have not released the trailer of The Kissing Booth 2 yet. They have just dropped the announcement video as of now. Fans of the film will have to wait a little bit more to watch the trailer of The Kissing Booth 2.
