There have been numerous reports doing rounds on social media that Mahesh Babu and KGF fame Prashanth Neel would be collaborating for a project. Initally, when Prashanth Neel narrated the script to Mahesh Babu the former liked the script but things took a drastic turn when he heard the entire story and did not find it suitable for him.
After hearing the full story, Mahesh Babu politely walked out of the film. Not only Sarileru Neekevvaru actor but also ace producer Allu Aravind was not fully satisfied with the story narrated by Prashanth Neel.
Soon after Mahesh Babu turned down Prashanth Neel’s offer, the KGF director approached Jr NTR and narrated the same story to him and he is reportedly quite impressed by the narration and has given his nod to star in the film, which is likely to be produced by Myhtri Movie Makers.
On the occasion of Jr NTR’s birthday, Prashanth Neel hinted about their collaboration by writing a cryptic message on Twitter,

It is very common in a film industry that a story gets rejected by a actor gets accepted by another actor and the same happened with Prashanth-Jr NTR film. This is not the first time, there were numerous occasions when films were conceptualized on a similar theory turned out to be a massive hit.
Meanwhile, Jr NTR is all set to resume the shooting for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’. He will also be colloborating with Trivikram for his next project. He is likely to commence shooting for Prashantth Neel’s film once the shooting of Trivikram wrapped.
Mahesh Babu, on the other hand, is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’. He is expected to work with Rajamouli next.
