Fans of KGF 2 have been desperately awaiting the release of their favorite action film. However, it looks like their wait has been aggravated more. Recently, news of actor Sanjay Dutt being diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer shocked the entire cinema world. While it was reported that Sanjay will soon be flying to the United States for immediate treatment, the actor has some big-budget films like KGF 2, Prithviraj, and Shamshera to shoot for. The executive producer for KGF 2 has revealed that Sanjay Dutt will return after 3 months to complete the film.
KGF 2 is one of the most highly awaited films of this year. The movie which was scheduled to release in October is constantly marred by hurdles one after the other. In a conversation with Economic Times, producer Karthik said, “Dutt will return after 3 months, once his treatment is over, to complete my film. His team spoke to me today,” and added, “I spoke to Dutt two days back.” Karthik also revealed that Sanjay’s shooting in left “About 3 days. And, those are extension scenes.”

The film starring superstar Yash aka Rocky Bhai will also see Raveena Tandon play an important role. In his recent statement, the south Indian actor said, “KGF 2 is going to be massive. If you’ve seen KGF 1, you’ll have an idea of what kind of movie it is—KGF 2 will be five-folds of KGF 1!” KGF 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. Sanjay Dutt plays the lead antagonist Adheera in the film.
Raveena Tandon, who plays the character of a politician in the film, recently revealed details about her character and said, “I am playing a politician, a strong character. She is the hero as well as the villain of the film, with a very interesting story arc.”
