KGF Chapter 2 hits another roadblock as Sanjay Dutt leaves for immediate treatment to the U.S.

Sanjay Dutt was reportedly diagnosed with severe lung cancer earlier this week. The actor is set to leave immediately to the U.S. for treatment.

Bollywood actor Sanjay on Tuesday announced taking a break from work following his ill health. The KGF 2 actor who was recently admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital has been reportedly diagnosed with Lung cancer.

Breaking the news to his fans on Twitter, the KGF 2 star wrote, “I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge all well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate.”

Following the news, fans of KGF 2 will have to wait for Sanjay Dutt’s most anticipated debut in the South Indian Film Industry. The actor’s look as the menacing ‘Adheera’ got fans hooked to the movie even more. The makers of KGF 2 revealed Sanjay’s first look from the movie on his birthday last month. The actor looks raw and ready to be in action in the Viking’s inspired look.

Sanjay Dutt recently got admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital due to breathlessness and chest pain. The actor underwent the COVID-19 test and was tested negative for the novel virus.

Report further state that Sanjay Dutt would soon be leaving for immediate treatment to the United States. With the actor away, the shooting of KGF 2 is expected to delay further. The makers of KGF 2 were planning on resuming shoot later this week.

Helmed by Prashanth Neel, KGF 2 stars South Indian Superstar Yash. The film was hailed as one of the most successful digital blockbusters of 2019. Since then fans have been desperate for makers to share the release date. But it looks like they will have to wait a tad bit longer.
