“All is good under the hood” assures Karan Patel after Parth Samthaan tests positive for coronavirus

Television world’s heartthrob Parth Samthaan on Sunday took to Instagram to inform that he has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor had recently resumed shooting for the hit drama after restrictions were lifted on June 27th. The actor said he was showing mild symptoms for the viral infection. The actor in his post urged everyone who may have come in contact with him to undergo precautionary COVID-19 test. Parth will currently stay under self isolation and is said to be in constant contact with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Meanwhile, shoots for the popular drama has been halted until reports of every other cast and crew members are negative. Karan Patel who recently joined the cast of Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Mr. Rishab Bajaj reassured fans that “all is good under the hood”.  Karan also informed that he will take necessary swab test to rule out any possibility of the infection.

The makers of the show Balaji Telefilms and Ekta Kapoor have released a statement to inform about their next step. The statement assures everyone that the production house is taking all the necessary precautions mentioned in the guidelines.

Balaji Statement

“We would like to inform various stakeholders that one of our talent from the show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now receiving medical attention. Our first priority is to help protect our talent, production crew and employees. We are taking all the precautions detailed in the guideline. We were and will continue following all medical protocols set by the authorities and have implemented guidelines concerning social interactions, hygiene, travel and visits to the sets.”

All necessary precautions being taken, SOPs being followed. Health & safety comes first to us all at Balaji.
