Recently, Tommy Dorfman of the 13 Reasons Why fame shared some Instagram snapshots with The Kissing Booth star Jacob Elordi. Naturally, the internet went crazy. However, what followed was a series of speculation regarding the unlikely couple’s relationship and a dash of homophobia in the mix.
On Wednesday, Dofrman shared pictures with Jacob Elordi where the duo seems to be sharing a good old affectionate bro moment. In one picture, the Euphoria star is seen kissing them on the cheek while another sweet photo is of Dorfman leaning on Jacob’s shoulder and grabbing his leg. The post left netizens in shock as theories of the couple being in a “relationship” began flooding the internet. However, sadly for Twitter, these are merely theories.

To begin with, Tommy Dorfman has been happily married to Peter Zurkuhlen since 2016 and posted about their husband just a few weeks ago. While Elordi has never explicitly mentioned his sexuality, his past relationships have been public and with girls. Jacob dated his Kissing Booth co-star Joey King and was later rumored to be dating his Euphoria co-actor Zendaya up until March.
However, these facts have not stopped fans from spewing bizarre theories and being homophobic in the process. While some fans are mourning that he is off the market others are imagining Zendaya’s reaction to this. In simple terms, Twitter is spiraling and not in a good way.
