Hindustani Bhau’s Instagram account suspended for ‘Hate Speech’
Days after Instagram removed Ex- Bigg Boss contestant Hindustani Bhau's post, users flagged its content in large numbers. His official account now stands suspended for 'hate speech'.
Ex Bigg Boss contestant Hindustani Bhau’s Instagram account got suspended for hate speech on Thursday. The social media influencer has previously been criticized for his abusive and hateful content.
Earlier this week netizens began flagging his content for its crass and violent language. Eventually, on Tuesday Instagram removed his post amid multiple reports. Some even urged Mumbai Police to intervene while others called for his arrest.
On 20 August, actor Shashank Arora took to Twitter to share a screenshot of a notification he got from Instagram. The notification states that the actor reported Hindustani Bhau’s Instagram account for “hate speech or symbols.” It further reads, “Thank you for reporting Hindustani Bhau’s Instagram account. We’ve removed it from Instagram because it goes against our Community Guidelines.”

Many social media users reacted positively to the news. Others who had also reported his account received a similar notification from Instagram.
Hindustani Bhau has previously been slammed by celebrities including Ekta Kapoor and others for his violent threats and abusive language. On 18 August, comedian Kunal Kamra had urged Mumbai Police and the Home Minister of Maharashtra to take action against Hindustani Bhau for posting an objectionable video.
He wrote, “Calling for open violence is a crime. This is a mob building & hate spreading exercise. This is deeply alarming. Could lead to violence & an artist not getting due process. Remarks like “System side main” are an insult to our constitution…”

Similarly, many other popular comedians also took to their social media to urge Instagram and the Mumbai Police to take cognizance of the matter. Hindustani Bhau recently made headlines for filing a complaint against Ekta Kapoor’s ALT Balaji XXX series for disrespecting Indian Soldiers.
