Fantastic Beasts 3, 4 and 5 release date, trailer, cast, plot and all you need to know

From trailer to release date, here's everything you need to know about Fantastic Beasts 3, 4 and 5.

Fantastic Beasts is a fantasy film directed by David Yates. It is a spin off of and prequel to blockbuster Harry Potter film series. The previous two parts of Fantastic Beasts received poor reviews from the critics and audiences alike.

The makers of the film were probably not hoping for the reviews they received while planning five movie series for Fantastic Beasts. Despite receiving negative reviews, they still confident that the upcoming film will be a blockbuster, with Rowling having an “incredible vision of where she wants to go” with the whole series.

Here’s everything you need to know about Fantastic Beasts 3, 4, and 5:

Fantastic Beasts 3, 4 and 5 release dates: Has it shelved?

Initially it seemed like Fantastic Beasts 3 would also follow the two-year release pattern and hit the theaters on November 20 this year. But looking at the current scenario, Fantastic Beasts is not going to release in 2020.

Instead Warner Bros will release the third movie on November 12, 2021, with the filming is all set to begin in Spring this year. Star Dan Fogler said the change is because they needed “more time to prep”.

Explaining the reason of delaying the release date of Fantastic Beasts 3, Warner Bros Pictures Group chairman Toby Emmerich had said, “We all believe this release date will give the filmmakers time and space to allow their artistry to truly flourish and deliver the best possible film to our fans.”

The fourt and fifth part of Fantastic Beasts had never had release dates it is likely that they would be releasing in November 2022 and November 2024. That probably won’t be the case now with the third movie coming in 2021.

There has not been any official announcement made as of now regarding the release date of Fantastic Beasts 4 and 5.

Fantastic Beasts 3, 4 and 5 cast: Scamander and company

Unfortunately, not everyone survived in the second part of Fantastic Beasts. Eddie Redmayne would be returning to third part as Newt Scamander. At the Toronto International Film Festival last year, Redmayne revealed that the third film is “happening, and it’s really exciting”.

Jude Law will also been in Fantastic Beasts 3 as the the young Albus Dumbledore, along with Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein and Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski.

Besides the above mentioned ones, there are still a lot of cast who are likely to be back for the third part including Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein and Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone (or is it Aurelius Dumbledore?).

Despite the ongoing legal battle, Johnny Depp has also confirmed that he will return as Gellert Grindelwald whether you want him back or not, and this has yet to change as far as the any of the films are concerned.

Fantastic Beasts 3 plot: What will happen in the next part?

It is too early to talk about the plot of Fantastic Beasts 3. Yes, we will have to wait to know what the plot of the third movie will be but Rowling has potentially let slip that it’ll be set in Rio de Janeiro in the 1930s after she corrected a spelling mistake on Twitter.

As of December 10, 2018, Rowling has finished the script for the third movie, so it’s either a hint to Brazil-based scenes in Fantastic Beasts 3 or a clever misdirection by JK.

Fantastic Beasts 3 trailer: Is there any trailer for the third movie?

No, there is no footage or official trailer of Fantastic Beasts 3 available on the internet. As soon as the makers of the film drop, we will update this article.

Fantastic Beasts 3 is scheduled to release on November 12, 2021.
