Disha Vakani aka Dayaben is a talented and very recognized Television Actress. Her popularity for playing the role of Dayabben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has made her an irreplaceable character on the show.
Sadly enough we are yet to see her back on the show after her going on maternity leave. The show has been running without her character for the past three years. The makers have been unsuccessful in getting any new actress to play the role of Dayaben.

Disha Vakani has managed to play the character of Dayaben so well that even after such a long time since her break no new actress has been able to take her place on the show. From her dialogue delivery to her comic acting and her great Garba Disha has become the most liked character on the show.
Disha had taken a break after she got pregnant in 2017. It was assumed that she will be back on the show once she had given birth and her baby girl was big enough. But Disha who couldn’t bear to leave her baby girl and set her as her priority declined to come on the show until she was satisfied that her daughter could do well while she was away from her.
The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah were in talks with her and there were also rumors of someone else replacing Disha Vakani on the show. But their talk with the actress has been unsuccessful and so as replacing her on the show.
We all miss our Dayaben and her Garba hope we get to see her soon on the show entertaining us with her comic acting and charisma.
