Deepika Padukone is undoubtedly one of the biggest superstars in India. The actor has time and again made her country her proud on a global platform with her performances and stardom. On Sunday, Deepika took to her Instagram account to announce her pan India film with none other the South Indian Superstar Prabhas. Yes, you read that right!
Sharing the news, Deepika wrote, “Beyond Thrilled!Cannot wait for what we believe is going to be an incredible journey ahead.”

According to reports, the Deepika and Prabhas starrer have been tentatively named Prabhas 21. Reports of the duo coming together for a movie have been doing the rounds for quite a while. Fans of both the actors are elated by the news and soon #DeepikaPadukone began trending on Twitter.
Reportedly, the film is set in the backdrop of a fictional third world war. It is a sci-fi film helmed by popular filmmaker Nag Ashwin. The Deepika and Prabhas starrer are set to go on floors next year following the outcome of coronavirus pandemic. The movie will mark Deepika Padukone’s debut in the Telugu cinema and her first collaboration with South Indian star Prabhas.
As soon as the news broke, Twitterati flooded the internet with appreciation posts for the actors and prophesied the Deepika and Prabhas upcoming film a blockbuster.

Meanwhile, Deepika will next make her on-screen appearance in Kabir Khan’s 83′ which also stars husband Ranveer Singh in the lead role. Prabhas on the other hand was last seen in 2019’s Saaho alongside Shraddha Kapoor. The movie released Pan-India in multiple languages.
