Dance India Dance is the most renowned television reality show. The first season of DID was released in 2009. The show began with three iconic personalities of the industry- Remo D’souza, Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis and Mithun Chakraborty as the head judge. However, the judges were replaced from the fourth season.
Dance India Dance provided the contestants to showcase their dance talents through various forms and also proved to be a kick start for the dance journey of many contestants. This show was telecasted on ZEETV, produced by Essel Vision Productions.

Salman Yussuf was the winner of Season 1 (from Remo Ke Rangeelay) whereas Alisha Singh from (Terence Ki Toli) was the first runner up. 
Dance India Dance Season 2: Shakti Mohan
The winner of Season 2 was Shakti Mohan from (Terence Ki Toli) whereas Dharmesh Yelande from (Geeta Ki Gang) was the first runner up.
Dance India Dance Season 3: Rajasmita Kar
Rajasmita Kaur from (Geeta Ki Gang) was the winner whereas Pradeep Gurung from (Terence Ki Toli) was the first runner up.
Dance India Dance Season 4: Shyam Yadav
The winner of Season4 was Shyam Yadav from (Mudassar Ki Mandali) with Manan Sachdeva from (Shruti Ke shandar) as the first runner up.

The winner of Season 5 was Proneeta Swargiary from (Punit Ke Panthers) with Manan Sachdeva from (Shruti Ke Shandar) as the first runner up.
Dance India Dance Season 6: Sanket Gaonkar
Sanket Gaonkar from (Mini Ke Masterblasters) as the winner and Sachin Sharma from (Marzi Ke Mastane) as the first runner up.
Dance India Dance (DID) Season 7: Unreal Crew
The winner of Season 7 was Unreal Crew (Tuttmation- Tutting and Animation) against I Am Hip-Hop.
