Ever since the announcement of recreating The Chronicles of Narnia in 2018, fans have been desperate to know about its release on Netflix. The series is an adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ best selling books. However, much to fans’ dismay there has been no additional information on the movie’s release. Recently, Twitter was buzzing with fake posters of the upcoming Chronicles of Narnia series and fans were overjoyed.
The fake posters were soon busted when fans began comparing it with the posters of Game of Thrones. The two posters looked starkly similar and the buzz soon began to die down.

The supposed release of the Chronicles of Narnia also contradicted Lewis’s stepson’s claim where he said, “I have not heard a word from them,” I’m kind of getting worried myself as to whether anything’s ever going to happen.”
Here is what we know about Netflix releasing Chronicles of Narnia:
Is Netflix making Chronicles of Narnia?
Despite no official announcements of its release, Netflix is still developing Chronicles of Narnia based on Lewis’ books. Coco co-writer Matthew Aldrich was recently announced as a creative architect on all Narnia projects last year.
Since there haven’t been any specific reports on its making, Gresham told O’Flaherty that he is hoping for an episodic adaptation. Gresham, who is also the producer said that putting an entire adventure storybook in a movie wouldn’t do it justice.
What is the release date?
Netflix is yet to make any suggestions on a release date for their upcoming Chronicles of Narnia series. The movie will be adapted on the seven books written by Lewis which might be the reason for its delay.
