The latest video of BTS’ Jungkook has blown up twitter to become the most liked tweet of 2020, also the third tweet by BTS to record over 2 million likes. Previous videos by singer V jamming on Justin Bieber’s Intention and Taehyung’s dancing to ’50s prom style of Closer by Kenton Chen have both received 2 million likes.

Data showed the singer trending globally within minutes of posting the video, showing Jungkook’s influence over his massive fanbase. Aside from being the most commented tweet of all time, the post also boasts of reaching the fastest 1 million views in Twitter history! The data is compiled by social media firm NewsWhip which tracks around 3,50,000 influential users accounts.
The BTS stands for the Korean expression Bangtan Sonyeondan meaning ‘Bulletproof Boys Scouts’. It is easily the biggest and most influential K-pop name in all of the genre’s histories. The 7 members have been titled ‘Princes of Pop’ by Time and are the second best-selling artists worldwide after Drake.
