At the centre is Saoirse Ronan aka Christine who has had enough with struggles at her Catholic school, with boys and even with her parents. From the first scene go, this Netflix comedy movie will keep you hooked like no other can. It is a soulful mother-daughter story and every character is incredibly perfect. This is one of the best comedies of the last decade.

The movie follows Cher who takes Tai under her wings to make her noticeable. The film 100% resonates with teenagers, given the surprising themes and arcs. Can’t Hardly Wait like Clueless remains an eternal relevant comedy. The movies pack in a punch of perfect nostalgia making it hard to look away.  The movie follows graduating high schoolers tying up loose ends at a party before they head off to college. Someone is trying to confess their life long crush while some continue to hold enmity. A group of boys get completely wasted and sing Paradise City outrageously loud. Sounds like regular high school graduation, right? But in reality, it is so much more. It is one of the best comedies on Netflix right now.

Finding a missing movie star, dousing fires, this film soon gets into Chaos. George Clooney delivers one of his best comedic performances which should be reason enough.

Slow West is a through and through dark dry comedy. Set in the American West, the story follows a young Scotsman who is looking for his Lovelady, Rose Ross. This is not your regular comedy, which is why it must be on your list if you are looking for the best comedies on Netflix.

Ryan Reynolds is without a doubt an incredibly gifted comedic actor.  Just Friends is a classic example of how Reynolds has terrific comic timing combined with his good looks. The story follows a sensitive successful music producer and a coming of age pop star Anna Faris. While the story may be predictable Reynolds and Anna’s chemistry is sizzling. The duo packs in a good amount of unexpected laughs and complete chaos ensue on the journey making for a fun watch.

The series that follows is a silly political comedy. There are a number of insane gags here which makes for a really nice watch.
