Raj Chakraborty, renowned filmmaker of Tollywood, tests positive for coronavirus

Bengali filmmaker Raj Chakraborty has unfortunately tested positive for coronavirus. He took to Twitter to break this news.

He tweeted, “I have been tested COVID-19 positive. My father has been hospitalized recently, but he has been tested negative both the time. In home quarantine right now. Rest of my family members will be testing for COVID-19 too. These are the trying times.”

After his tweet, Raj Chakraborty’s profile got flooded with wishes for a speedy recovery.

For the unversed, Raj Chakraborty made his directorial debut in Tollywood with Chirodini…tumi je amar in 2008 and went on to become one of the commercially successful film-makers in the industry.  Films like Challenge, Bojhena Shey Bojhena, joddha among many others to his credit.
