
Director SS Rajamouli’s helmed and India’s highest grossing movie series Baahubali is a current obsession for the Russians now. The second instalment, Baahubali: The Conclusion,broke all box office records and still remains one of the most prominent Indian films of all time.
On May 28, the the Embassy of the Russian Federation took to Twitter to post a visual clip of Baahubali: The Conclusion. Along with it, they also spilled the tea on how the Prabhas starrer broadcasted on a television channel in Russian households.
Sharing the video, the Russian Embassy wrote, “Indian cinema gains popularity in Russia. Look what Russian TV is broadcasting right now: the Baahubali with Russian voiceover! (sic).”

The moment, the Russian Embassy posted the video, it went all over on social media with Indian citizens feeling proud. Several fans of Baahubali took to Twitter to express sheer joy and excitement in seeing the film receiving several accolades by the Russian audience.

The Baahubali series was produced on a massive budget of Rs 250 crore and succeeded in acquiring profits more than Rs 1,800 crore worldwide. Originally shot in Telugu and Tamil, the film also released in multiple languages such as Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Chinese and Japanese to name a few.
The epic action film received a huge popularity across the country and went on to win several hearts worldwide. Baahubali: The Conclusion also won three National Awards for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, Best Special Effects and Best Stunt Choreographer.
Baahubali 2 completed three successful years at the box office as it premiered on silver screens on April 28, 2017. However, to commemorate the success, Prabhas shared a BTS picture from the sets of the film with director SS Rajamouli and co-star Rana Daggubati. Moreover, he also penned an emotional note for the post as follows:
“Baahubali 2 was not just a film that the nation loved but also, the biggest film of my life. And, I’m grateful to my fans, team and director S. S Rajamouli who made it one of the most memorable projects. Baahubali 2 completes three years and I’m delighted for all the love the film and I have received.”
Baahubali 1 and 2 features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Nasser in pivotal roles. The technical crew comprises of composer MM Keeravani, cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar and editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
