Ayyappanum Koshiyum has been a topic of discussion ever Sithara Entertainment acquired the remake rights of its Telugu remake. If anything to go by the latest buzz, Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga to helm Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
Earlier it was reported that Nandamuri Balakrishna was keen to helm the Telugu version of Ayyappanum Koshiyum and he asked for screening in Prasad Labs as well. However, the latest report suggest that Sithara Entertainment is considering to bring Sandeep Reddy Vanga onboard to direct the film.
Only time will tell whether Sandeep Reddy Vanga will agree to direct this crazy remake. The same report also stated that Sithara Entertainment is also considering the names of Harish Shankar and Sudheer Varma apt to deal the emotions in the film on par with the original.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum is a Malayalam language action thriller written and directed by Sachy. The film features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead roles. Upon released, the film received rave reviews from the critics and audience alike and turned out a massive hit at the box office.
The story of the film revolves around the conflict between Koshy Kurien, an influential and wealthy ex-Havildar and Ayyappan Nair, a Sub-inspector in Attappadi.
