Actress Ankita Lokhande took to Instagram to post a picture of a Diya, that she lit up in the memory
of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Today marks the one-month anniversary of the M.S. Dhoni actor’s passing. The actor’s sudden demise left the country in a state of shock. Friends and family of the actor took to their Instagram handles to remember Sushant by lighting a Diya. Ankita who was in a relationship with Sushant for 6 years had not been active on social media since the news broke. “Child of God”, her caption on the post read.

Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on 14th June 2020. Ankita Lokhande visited the actor’s parents a day after the funeral. However, close friends of Sushant and Ankita have maintained that the actress is in great pain. Sandip Singh and Vikas Gupta also posted about the close bond Sushant and Ankita shared during their relationship. “Even today, I believe that only you two were made for each other. You both are true love,” Sandip wrote in an Instagram post while Vikas Gupta said, “Ankita Lokhande, you were the shock-absorber and wouldn’t leave him till he has the smile on his face again.”
Ankita’s Pavitra Rishta co-star Prarthana Behere in a conversation with TOI said, “I can tell this about Ankita, she is devastated and crying like hell, News sunne ke baad woh wahin atki padi hai…”
Apart from Ankita, rumored girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty also took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt note for Sushant. Director Mukesh Chabbra posted a series of pictures with the actor and wrote, “एक महीना हो गया है आज‘’अब तो कभी फ़ोन भी नहीं आएगा तेरा… ‘’
Sushant Singh Rajput will be last seen in ‘Dil Bechara’ alongside Sanjana Sanghi. The movie is set to release on 24th July on Disney+Hotstar.
