Allu Arjun to play Chief Minister in Mahi V Raghav’s next film?

The film is said to be based on the life of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhar Reddy. 

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is all set to resume the shoot of his first Pan-Indian film ‘Pushpa’, directed by Sukumar. The film has Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna playing female lead opposite Allu Arjun. It would be interesting to see Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun sharing the screen space for the first time.

A few days ago, we reported that after Pushpa, Allu Arjun will be seen in Mahi V Raghav’s film, which will be produced by Prasad V Potluri. The film is said to be based on the life of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

The latest buzz about the film states that Allu Arjun will essay the role of Chief Minister in Mahi V Raghav’s next.

Raghav reportedly composed a political thriller dealing with contemporary corruption and financial swindling in modern day politics. Allu Arjun is reported to have liked the storyline, despite its political touch.

The Yatra director had already narrated the script of the film to Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor and he seems to be impressed with it.

According to reports, Mahi V Raghav will showcase the rise of a youngster (Allu Arjun) as the Chief Minister of the state showing all the qualities of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

However, the official announcement regarding whether Allu Arjun will star in Mahi V Raghav’s next project is yet to be made. The film is currently in the scripting stage.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently working on his first pan-India film, Pushpa. He is also in talks with Venu Sriram and even planning a pan-India project after that. It would be interesting to see if Allu Arjun-Mahi V Raghav project will hit the floors anytime soon.
