Allu Arjun to star in Yatra director Mahi V Raghav’s next project?

Mahi V Raghav is likely to have Allu Arjun playing the lead role in his next project

Stylish star Allu Arjun — who is currently busy shooting for his up-coming film titled ‘Pushpa’ — seems to be impressed with Mahi V Raghav, who had directed Yatra, a biographical drama based on the life of former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

Mahi V Raghav’s directorial Yatra might have received an overwhelming response from the critics and audience alike but the director did not get the next film to go on floors.

If anything to go by the latest news, Mahi V Raghav is likely to have Allu Arjun playing the lead role in his next project. Yes, you read that right! The Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor is apparently impressed with the storyline narrated by the Raghav.

Raghav reportedly composed a political thriller dealing with contemporary corruption and financial swindling in modern day politics. Allu Arjun is reported to have liked the storyline, despite its political touch.

However, the official announcement regarding whether Allu Arjun will star in Mahi V Raghav’s next project is yet to be made. The film is currently in the scripting stage.

If anything falls into place, Prasad V Potluri who signed up Mahi V Raghav immediately after the release of ‘Yatra’ will produce the film.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently working on his first pan-India film, Pushpa. He is also in talks with Venu Sriram and even planning a pan-India project after that. It would be interesting to see if Allu Arjun-Mahi V Raghav project will hit the floors anytime soon.
