Akshay Kumar’s crazy new teaser for Bear Grylls’ Into the Wild is sure to hook your interest. Earlier this year, it was reported that Akshay Kumar is the next Indian celeb to join Into The Wild host Bear Grylls on the show and the teaser is just everything we hoped it would be and more. The episode is set to premiere on Discovery Plus India on September 11 at 8 pm while Discovery channel viewers will get to see it on September 14 at 8 pm.
“You thinking I’m mad… but mad only going into the wild,” Akshay captioned his post on Twitter while sharing the teaser of the episode. The teaser features both Akshay and Bear Grylls in some ultimate Into the Wild moments.

According to reports by Bollywood Hungama, a source said, “Akshay Kumar makes for an ideal guest on Man Vs Wild. He’s agile, energetic, and quite fit as we all know. He can easily roam around in the difficult terrain of the forest and make for a great company with Bear Grylls. Akshay hopes to learn the survival techniques from Bear. The British adventurer too hopes to imbibe some of his admirable qualities. We assure it’ll be an episode to watch out for!”
Akshay Kumar shot for the episode at Mysuru’s Bandipur Tiger Reserve in January. He reportedly
completed a six-hour schedule on a one day tour of Bandipur Tiger Reserve.
Bear Grylls also shared his excitement of sharing this experience with his new “adventure buddy.”
“Life is an adventure that is best lived boldly, and there are few better (madder) adventure buddies than the legendary Akshay Kumar,” he said.
Previously, megastar Rajnikanth and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have made a special appearance on an episode of Into The Wild. Among the celebrities that have featured on the show are actors Kate Winslet and Julia Roberts, tennis player Roger Federer, basketball star Michael Jordan, and President Barack Obama.
