Aishwarya Rai & Aaradhya Bachchan admitted to Nanavati hospital for COVID-19 treatment

For the unversed, mother-daughter duo had tested COVID-19 positive on July 12.

Days after tested Coronavirus positive, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. For the unversed, mother-daughter duo had tested COVID-19 positive on July 12, 2020 but there were advised to quarantine at home.

It is to be noted that the news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan being hospitalized comes a few days after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were shifted to City’s hospital for COVID-19 treatment.

The rest of the family members, including Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan and her children, had no symptoms of Coronavirus and they had tested negaive.

Taking to the micro blogging site, Amitabh Bachchan informed his fans and followers,  “T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”

A few hours after Amitabh put a Tweet, Abhishek Bachchan wrote on Twitter, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”

On Friday India recorded a record 35,000 fresh cases of coronavirus cases in 24 hours, surpassing the one million mark.  India now has the third-highest number of cases in the world, after the US and Brazil. The current death toll is 25,602.

For the unversed, the four bungalows of Bachchan family in Juhu had been sealed and declared containment zones.
