Did you know Abhishek Bachchan and Goldie Behl were thrown out of THIS movie set?

Abhishek Bachchan recollects the time he and best friend Goldie Behl were thrown out of Pukar set for damaging props.

This lockdown has brought out the most interesting and unseen side of celebrities. With plenty of time on their hands, most celebs have gone down memory lane to reminisce
some of the most amazing past times. One of the most underrated Bollywood friendships is Abhishek Bachchan and Goldie Behl. The two have been inseparable since
childhood. Recently the Manmarziyan actor took to Instagram to share an anecdote from his childhood. The incident happened on the sets of Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pukaar
where reportedly Goldie and Abhishek were thrown off the sets. The two were found damaging the props on the film that later culminated in their first film together in 2001.

Abhishek Bachchan wrote on Instagram, “Two childhood best friends who wanted to make a movie together ever since they were thrown off the set of their fathers’ film for breaking the props because as a 5-year-old and 6-year-old, we got excited seeing fake swords on set. The movie was Pukar and Goldie Behl’s father (the great Ramesh Behl) was the director and my dad was the lead.” He further wrote in the caption, “During the climax shoot in Goa, we chanced upon the fake swords and started playing with them and then eventually breaking them. We were promptly sent back to the crew hotel. 19 years later we made our first film together.”

Abhishek Bachchan, Goldie Behl, and Sikander Kher are close as brothers. Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai starred Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee in lead roles.
